This the Madonna Parent Education Society's largest fundraiser for the school.
The Madonna Hot Lunch Committee consists of parent volunteers who run a Hot Lunch Program available to students in Kindergarten to grade 4. A hot lunch that is pre-ordered by parents is delivered right to the student in their class every Friday during the program!
This is an on-line ordering system open to parents twice a year for order placement. Once in September (Cycle 1) and again in February (Cycle 2). Information is in the weekly SMORE emailed just prior to ordering being available that includes the hot lunch specifics for all Fridays included in that cycle. The parent is then able to go on-line, customize their child's order and process payment using a creditcard.
Yours child's hot lunch arrives at their classroom door when lunch begins.
Meals offered for this program offer a balance between healthy and fun choices like Pasta Pantry, Booster Juice, Chicken Fingers and Extreme Pita to name a few! A list of ingredients for all menu items is available upon request.
This program is a wonderful success thanks to the many parents who volunteer their time!
